Ein besonders seltener Vintage 2001 7 Jahre alter Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky und eine der herausragenden Abfüllungen seit der Wiedereröffnung von Bruichladdich im Jahr 2000 durch den unabhängigen Abfüller Murray McDavid unter der Leitung von der Whiskylegende Jim McEwan. Dieser stark getorfte Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Isaly Single Malt wurde am 12. Juni 2001 destilliert und durfte nahezu 8 Jahre bis zum 31. März 2009 in einem Blood Tub mit der Cask No. 37 reifen und wurde als Limited Release Private Cask Bottling in einer Auflage von nur 37 individuell nummerierten Flaschen ohne Zusatz von Farbstoffen und Kühlfiltration mit 46,0% Vol. abgefüllt. Die Reifung in dem ausgesuchten und seltenen Blood Tub mit seinen 40 Litern Inhalt schaffte einen absolut erstklassigen Islay Single Malt mit einer schönen Mahagoni-Farbe und dem klassischen und eleganten Bruichladdich-Charakter mit der Power und Präsenz von starkem Torfrauch.
Dieser Port Charlotte Islay Single Malt Whisky gilt heute unter Kennern, Whisky-Sammlern und Liebhabern exklusiver Scotch Whiskys als Outstanding und besonders seltene Single Cask Abfüllung.
A very rare vintage 2001 7 year old Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Islay single malt Scotch whisky and one of the outstanding bottlings since the reopening of Bruichladdich in the year 2000 by the independent bottler Murray McDavid under the direction of whisky legend Jim McEwan. This heavily peated Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Isaly single malt was distilled on 12th June 2001 and was matured for almost 8 years until 31th March 2009 in a blood tub with the cask no. 37 and was bottled as a limited release private cask bottling in an edition of only 37 bottles without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at 46.0% vol. The maturation in the selected and rare blood tub with its 40 litre capacity created an absolutely first-class Islay single malt with a beautiful mahogany colour and the classic and elegant Bruichladdich character with the power and presence of strong peat smoke.
This Port Charlotte Islay single malt whisky is now regarded by connoisseurs, whisky collectors and lovers of exclusive Scotch whiskies as an outstanding and particularly rare single cask bottling.
