A very rare old bottling of the 12 year-old Aberlour Highland single malt scotch whisky with the old 100% Scotch Whisky Towerhouse label, 2-red-point Campbells Distillery back label and white screwcap with the Clan Campbell crest, which was still predominantly allowed to mature in sherry casks and was probably bottled in the late 1970s or early 1980s in a limited edition with 75cl under British Government Supervision for the travel retail market at 43.0% abv. The Aberlour 100% scotch whisky was still bottled under the Campbells Limited Distillery without chill filtration and is probably one of the first bottlings of Aberlour from the newly built bottling hall in Kilwinning in the year 1979.
