A rare vintage 1980s 21 year old bottling of the multi-award winning Balvenie Port Wood Highland single malt scotch whisky, presumably bottled in the year 2007-2008 with the old equipment in a limited edition at 40.0% abv.
For this Balvenie single malt, malt master David Stewart used only carefully selected old American oak bourbon barrels from the Rare Reserve stocks of the distillery, which were subsequently finished in 30-40 year old port wine casks. A rich and complex Balvenie single malt scotch whisky with a long, smooth and nutty finish in extraordinary quality and an exclusive bottling from the popular Balvenie Port Wood range.
