A particularly rare vintage 1966 29 year old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky from the Christmas Highland Single Malt edition and special bottling from a unique sherry cask that provided a beautiful and strong amber colour. For this, Glenfarclas filled a selected sherry cask with the cask no. 6551 on Christmas Eve in 1966, this was matured for 29 years and was bottled in an edition of only 324 individually numbered bottles in the year 1996 without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at cask strength 51.2% vol. with the Christmas label.
One of the few Christmas edition bottlings from Glenfarclas matured in a sherry single cask, the only vintage 1966 bottling and a wonderful old Glenfarclas Highland single malt Scotch whisky of exceptional quality, complex, absolutely first-class and a special recommendation for connoisseurs, the discerning whisky collector and lovers of exclusive and old Scotch whiskies.
