A very rare and spectacular vintage 1973 32 year old Glenfarclas Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky as a special single cask bottling for the prestigious Highlander Inn Hotel and Whisky Bar in Craigellachie. The premium Glenfarclas Highland single malt scotch whisky was distilled on 21th May 1973, matured for over 32 years in a selected sherry cask with the cask no. 4796 and was bottled without added colouring or chill filtration on 11th August 2005 in a limited edition of only 234 individually hand-numbered bottles with the golden G on the bottle at cask strength 50.8% vol.
The label, produced by Maggie Riegler of the Greenhall Gallery in Craigellachie, features an image of the Highlander Inn hotel with a 1970s VW Beetle, the original painting hangs proudly in the hotel s bar, and the back label lists Michael Jackson s official tasting notes.
This grandiose and exquisite old style Glenfarclas Speyside Single Malt Scotch whisky has a beautiful dark chestnut colour, has an extraordinary quality, is complex, absolutely outstanding and a particularly rare rarity from the old Glenfarclas cask cellar - almost impossible to find today and a special recommendation for connoisseurs, the discerning whisky collector and lovers of fine old Scotch whiskies!
