A rare and stunning vintage 1980 32 year old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky from the Christmas Single Malt Limited Edition and special bottling of selected port casks. For this, Glenfarclas filled 2 port pipes with the cask nos. 11065 and 11073 on Christmas Eve in the year 1980, these were matured for 32 years and were bottled in an edition of 704 individually numbered bottles with the special Christmas label on 20th August 2013 without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at 48.1% vol.
This exclusive and elegant vintage 1980 32 years Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky is fresh and balanced, on the nose it shows dried apricots, mocha, walnut, bitter orange, tobacco and dark honey, the taste is spicy, powerful and exciting with fruit and herbal aromas, blood oranges, grapefruit, nuts, pepper, leather, roasted malt and coffee beans, nutmeg, cinnamon and fine oak with a long and intense finish, a remarkable Glenfarclas!
