John Walker and Sons King George V Blended Scotch Whisky 43.0% Vol. - limited bottling of an exceptional Premium Blended Scotch Whisky
The John Walker and Sons King George V is an exceptional blended Scotch whisky, dedicated to a very special event in the history of John Walker: the appointment of John Walker as Royal Warrant to the British Royal Household in the the year 1934 and the King George V is a tribute to this historic event and is apparently designed to recreate how John Walker might have tasted back in this time.
The premium blend is produced in the same way as was customary at the time of King George the Fifth and contains only whiskies from distilleries that were already active at that time. Only the oldest and finest distillates of Cardhu, and Royal Lochnagar, matured in sherry and bourbon casks, were married together to create this royal whisky, including an exclusive single malt from the closed distillery Port Ellen, which gives the whisky its delicate smokiness.
As luxurious as the contents is the presentation of the King George V: the noble decanter comes in an elegant box bearing the emblem of John Walker in gold and each bottle is enclosed with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
