A incredible rare and unique old 1960s vintage bottling of the 12 years-old Lagavulin Specially Selected Pure Islay Malt Scotch Whisky 43.0% vol. as 75cl-bottle from the White Horse Distillers LTD. with the age indication on the neck label, clear bottle and white screw-cap with 43% printed in red at top of the cream-distillery-label from the year 1974 for the Benelux market by sole importer for Belgium and Luxembourg S.A. Cinoco N.V. in Brüssel.
On the back label, the British Customs' Certificate of origin no. 17 indicates bottling rotation number 1974/723, dated 23. August 1974, so this rare old bottling contains distillate from the early 1960s.
This stunning old-style 12 years Lagavulin Ilsay single malt Scotch whisky represents the pungent, smoky and maritime-influenced Islay single malt almost perfectly in its original form, in this version it is certainly a museum rarity and unique old bottle for connoisseurs, the discerning whisky collector and lovers of fine old Islay Scotch whiskies!
