A very rare and terrific vintage 1983 30 year old Port Ellen Islay single malt scotch whisky, distilled in February 1983 and after more than 30 years of maturation in a refill hogshead with cask no. DL 10124, bottled in December 2013 without added colouring or chill filtration in a limited edition of only 102 bottles by Douglas Laing in the Director s Cut limited single cask range at natural cask strength 53.5% abv. The beautifully gold coloured Islay single malt is with an age of 30 years to date, one of tthe oldest bottlings of Port Ellen in the Douglas Laing s prestigious Director s Cut range.
