A exceptional vintage 1969 45 year old Strathisla Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled in 1969 and bottled after 45 years maturation in selected refill sherry butt and bourbon casks by Gordon and MacPhail as a licensed bottling in the Distillery Label Vintage Limited Edition series in the year 2014 with no added colouring in a limited edition at 43.0% vol.
The independent bottler Gordon and MacPhail bottled the single malts for many distilleries decades ago and has a large stock of old top whiskies as well as many rarities. Each distillery was given an individual label, which was often considered the original bottling because no other bottlings existed and Gordon and MacPhail bottled this Strathisla under licence, hence the old original label on the bottle.
