Ein seltener Vintage 1990 20 Jahre alter Macallan Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky vom Independet Bottler Càrn Mòr, der als Sonderabfüllung zum 10 Jahrigen bestehen der Whisky Import Nederland abgefüllt wurde. Destilliert am 7. Juni 1990 durfte dieser besondere Macallan Highland Single Malt über 20 Jahre in einem Hogshead mit der Fassnummer 11156 reifen, bevor er am 24. März 2011 in einer Auflage von nur 128 einzeln von Hand nummerierter Flaschen ohne Zusatz von Farbstoffen und Kühlfiltration in Cask Strength mit 50,7% Vol. abgefüllt wurde.
Ursprünglich aus der ehemaligen Morrison-Gruppe - dem früheren Eigentümer von Bowmore, Auchentoshan und Glengarioch - hervorgegangen, steht dieser unabhängige Abfüller (Morrison and MacKay Whisky Merchants) in Verbindung mit dem ehemaligen Scottish Liqueur Centre, das sie vor kurzem übernommen haben. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Gillespie-Family bieten Càrn Mòr zum Teil alte Fässer aus bekannten aber auch weniger bekannten Distilleries an und bietet mit seinen ausgewählten Abfüllungen ein sehr hohes Qualitätsniveau. Die in nur geringer Auflage erhältlichen Sammler-Abfüllungen der begehrten Single Malts sind inzwischen ein Geheimtipp und nur selten erhältlich.

A rare vintage 1990 20 year old Macallan Highland single malt scotch whisky from the independent bottler Càrn Mòr, bottled as a special 10th anniversary bottling of Whisky Import Nederland. Distilled on 7th June 1990, this special Macallan Highland single malt was matured for over 20 years in a hogshead with cask no. 11156 before being bottled on 24th March 2011 without added dyes and chill-filtration in an edition of only 128 individually hand-numbered bottles at cask strength 50.7% abv.
Originally from the former Morrison Group - the former owner of Bowmore, Auchentoshan and Glengarioch - this independent bottler (Morrison and MacKay Whisky Merchants) is associated with the former Scottish Liqueur Centre, which they recently took over. In close cooperation with the Gillespie family, Càrn Mòr offers partially old casks from well-known but also lesser-known distilleries and offers a very high level of quality with its selected single cask bottlings.
