This fine 22-year old Auchentoshan Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in old bourbon and sherry casks and was bottled in the 1990s in an limited edition of 3.000 blue Buchan ceramic-bottles at 43.0% vol., the bottle and the box still show the old label. As at the time of the malt is still produced on tradionelle Art. She is one of the few distilleries in Scotland who previously practiced as usual triple distillation. This makes the whisky very light and soft. In addition, the malt used is only slightly peated.
This unique old bottling of the 22 years Auchentoshan Lowland single malt scotch whisky from the limited series in the blue Buchan ceramic bottle has now almost completely disappeared from the market and is a coveted rarity for whisky-collectors and lovers of fine old Scotch whiskies.
