Bowmore 1988 24 Years Feis Ile 2013 Limited Edition 1st Fill Bourbon Cask Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Cask Strength 51.0% ABV - one of only 300 bottles of a great Bowmore Islay Single Malt!
This rare vintage 1988 24 years-old Limited Edition Bowmore Single Malt Scotch Whisky was only available at the Feis Ile 2013 Festival in an edition of only 300 bottles and sold out within a very short time. The Bowmore Islay Single Malt Whisky matured 24 years in 1st-fill Bourbon casks and was bottled at cask strength 51.0% abv. Like the island of Islay, the Single Malt shows a unique quality and particularly fine complexity with sea salt, sweet vanilla, coconut, ripe fruits, peat smoke, orange peel and dark chocolate.
An almost genius Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, which can compete with a Bowmore Seadragon and the famous old bottlings from the 1960s and 1970s. Due to the small edition of only 300 bottles it has become a rarity and coveted bottling for connoisseurs and whisky-collectors of outstanding and old Scotch whiskies!
