A very rare 25 year old Bowmore Moonlight Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky with the old Seagull label in the blue Buchan ceramic bottle as a 75cl bottling for the US market. This 25 year old Bowmore Islay Single Malt Whiksy matured in old sherry casks was bottled in a small edition in the 1990s and, like the Seadragon or Bowmore Black and the old bottlings from the 1960s, is now one of Bowmore's legends. The cool damp sea breezes, the rich peat and the pure water give the single malt whisky its unique quality and fine spicy complexity.
This special bottle of the legendary 25 Years Bowmore Moonlight Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky in the rare Buchan ceramic version is now rarely found and has become a coveted rarity among connoisseurs, the discerning whisky collector and lovers of first-class and exceptional old Scotch whiskies!
- Nose: rich, yet subtle, on dried fruit and tea. Tropical fruit (guava, passion fruit). The peat arrives after a while. Some pepper as well. Develops on strawberry jam, apricot, kiwi. Great nose!
- Palate: great balance, between peat and fruit. Lots of acidic fruit notes (passion fruit). Quite spicy (cinnamon, clove) with some linseed oil.
- Finish: very nice finish with good length - indicates the quality of an old Bowmore!
