The very rare Vintage 1959 42 year old Glenfarclas The Christmas Highland single malt Scotch whisky comes from Glenfarclas' limited the Historic Reserve edition and was bottled in an edition of only 240 bottles on the 24th June 2002 without the addition of colouring agents and chill filtration at 46.0% vol. The no. 4 of the Glenfarclas Historic Reserve limited edition is dedicated to the fourth company director George S. Grant (1923). For this special Glenfarclas Historic Reserve Limited Edition Highland Single Malt, 4 special premium sherry hogsheads with the cask nos.: 3232, 3233, 3234 and 3235 were filled at Glenfarclas on 25th December 1959 as Christmas malt, the distillate was matured in the casks for over 42 years and resulted in this very special and exceptional Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky.
