This rare vintage 1981 35 year old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky is the fourth bottling from the limited Six Generations limited edition from Glenfarclas and was produced in an edition of only 521 bottles - the bottles available for the German market were only allocated to selected retailers in individual orders. In contrast to the Oloroso sherry casks typically used, the fourth edition of the Glenfarclas Six Generations edition was matured for 35 years in a port cask, was bottled without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at cask strength 47.9% vol. and promises an excitingly different Glenfarclas single malt. The last bottling from port casks was from Glenfarclas in 2014, this was 33 years old and therefore this rare Highland single malt is the oldest single cask bottling from a Glenfarclas port cask. This exquisite Glenfarclas Highland single malt scotch whisky was bottled on 19th May 2016 and resulted in this very special and exceptional Scotch whisky. The bottle comes in an elegant leather box with an illustration of George S. Grant from the fourth generation of the family on the front.
