The terrific Yamazaki Mizunara Oak Cask Release 2013 Japanese Single Malt Whisky is the 4th release from the limited Mizunara Japanese oak series by Yamazaki. The exquisite Yamazaki Mizunara Oak Japan Single Malt was matured in exquisite casks made from the rare Japanese Mizunara oak and was bottled in the year 2013 with a Japan paper label in an edition of 1600 bottles without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at 48.0% vol.
The Suntory Yamazaki Mizunara Cask 2013 Japan Single Malt Whisky is made from only the finest and most original ingredients and was awarded the gold medal at ISC 2014. Ingredients that are transformed into a wonderfully harmonious single malt during the skilful distillation process. Its soft water comes from the springs of the River Hakushu and the wood in which it matures comes from the Japanese Mizunara oak, which has lent the exquisite single malt wonderful and unique notes of sandalwood and aloeswood.
