It was bottled in the year 2007 in a limited edition without chill filtration at cask strength 54.1% vol.
The Ardbeg Almost There Limited Edition 2007 Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky is intense with bold notes, on the nose it shows charcoal, tar, toffee, milk chocolate, aniseed and wood smoke, the taste is tingly and peppery with sweet flavours, the palate is tingly and peppery with sweet flavours overlaid with savoury charcoal notes, smoked bacon, burnt toast and tar, the finish is long and lingering with a hint of fresh peppermint and cloves - an impressive Ardbeg for its age!
