This Ardbeg Blasda Islay single malt scotch whisky is an unusually lightly peaty and special Islay single malt Scotch whisky that matured in sherry hogsheads and one of the first bottlings from the year 2008. It was bottled in a limited edition without the addition of dyes at 40.0% vol. in 2008 and is considered by connoisseurs to be a light, mild and atypical Ardbeg Single Malt with a long finish where sweetness and peat harmonise excellently. In contrast to the other Ardbeg bottlings, a clear glass bottle was used for this whisky.
