Distilled in the year 1970 and matured in specially selected casks in the oldest warehouse at the distillery, this old and unique Islay single malt whisky was bottled in limited numbers in the early 1990s and, like the Seadragon, Bowmore Black or Prestonfield and the old bottlings from the late 1960s and early 1970s, is now one of Bowmore s legends.
The cool humid sea breezes, the rich peat deposits, the pure water and the old sherry casks give the single malt whisky its unique quality and delicate spicy complexity.
