A very rare and great vintage 1982 21 years-old Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the famous Cask Strength Rare Auld single cask edition by Duncan Taylor, which was distilled in October 1982 and after over 21 years of maturation in a oak cask with cask no. 85009 bottled in July 2004 without the addition of dyes and chill filtration in a edition of only 166 individually hand-numbered bottles at cask strength 58.8% vol. This great 21 years-old Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky has a beautiful amber colour and is a delight due to its maturity and complexity.
The whiskies offered between 2002 and 2011 by Duncan Taylor in the Cask Strength Rare Auld single caks edition acquired by Abe Rosenberg since the early 1960s come from the more than 4000 casks of selected premium distilleries, such as Aberlour, Ben Riach, Bowmore, Brora, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabhain, Caperdonich, Clynelish, Dallas Dhu, Dalmore, Glen Grant, Glen Moray, Glenburgie, Glenesk, Glenlivet, Glenlossie, Glenrothes, Highland Park, Inchgower, Knockando, Linlithgow, Laphroaig, Longmorn, Macallan, Macduff, Miltonduff, Old Pulteney, Springbank, Strathisla, Strathmill, Tamdhu and Tomatin and are all bottled as single cask whiskies in limited editions.
