This very rare and stunning vintage 1985 27 years-old Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in the year 1985 and matured for 27 years in selected sherry and boubon casks in the renowned Bowmore no. 1 vaults, it was bottled as a distillery exclusive special bottling for the Fèis Ìle Festival 2012 without added dyes and chill filtration at cask strength 52.3% abv in a limited edition of only 200 bottles and an individually hand-numbered certificate and the signature of distillery manager Eddie McAffer. The exquisite Bowmore Islay single malt scotch whisky was only available to visitors to the distillery on site, is presented in a massive high quality wooden box with leather strap closure and sold out within a short time.
