A very rare vintage 1990 20 years-old Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky at Cask Strength 50.7% abv of Signatoy Vintage from the Prestonfield Collection, distilled on 8th June 1990 and bottled after 20 years maturation in a First Fill Hogshead with Cask No. 1065 in the year 2010 in a limited edition of only 294 individually hand-numbered bottles.
From the year 1980 to 2011 Signatory Vintage presented special single malts from selected distilleries at the Prestonfield Collection for the world-renowned Luxury 5-Star Hotel in Edinburgh, such as Ardbeg, Balvenie, Ben Nevis, Bruichladdich, Caol Ila, Caperdonich, Clynelish, Glen Keith, Glendronach, Highland Park, Longmorn, North British, Port Ellen, Springbank and The Prestonfield in limited editions. The selected single malts of the limited Prestonfield Edition were provided with different illustrations of the Prestonfield Hotel on the bottle labels. Today they enjoy an almost legendary reputation among lovers and connoisseurs and make every whisky-collector s heart beat faster.
This Bowmore Islay Single Malt is the penultimate bottling of the Prestonfield series from the year 2010 and is already considered a very rare rarity!
