This vintage 1992 16 year old limited edition bottling Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was matured for 6 years in bourbon casks and then a further ten years in selected Chateaux Lagrange Bordeaux wine casks. It was bottled in the year 2008 without the addition of colourants and non-chill-filtered at cask strength 53.5% vol. and is the fourth bottling from a series of four limited edition vintage Bowmore single malts from the years 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 with different cask types.
A beautiful classic Bowmore Islay single malt Scotch whisky with peat smoke, red berry fruit and notes of sugared almonds and butterscotch and rare expression for connoisseurs, whisky collectors and lovers of fine old Scotch whisky - rarely found today!
