A very rare and exceptional vintage 1966 40 year old Bruichladdich Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky from the limited Cask Strength Rare Auld single cask collection by Duncan Taylor, distilled in January 1966 and bottled after over 40 years maturation in an oak cask with cask no. 200 in May 2006 without colouring and non-chill filtered at cask strength 41.6% vol. in a limited edition of only 170 individually hand-numbered bottles.
The whiskies offered by Duncan Taylor in the Cask Strength Rare Auld sing cask edition come from the 4000 casks of selected premium distilleries which Abe Rosenberg has acquired with great expertise since the early 1960s, such as Ben Riach, Bowmore, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabhain, Caperdonich, Glen Grant, Glenburgie, Glenesk, Glenlivet, Glenlossie, Glenrothes, Highland Park, Inchgower, Knockando, Linlithgow, Longmorn, Macallan, Macduff, Miltonduff, Old Pulteney, Springbank, Strathisla, Strathmill, Tamdhu and Tomatin and are all bottled as single cask whiskies in limited editions.
