A rare vintage 1984 23 year old Bruichladdich Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky as the 3rd and last edition of the limited still series (Blacker Still, Redder Still, Golder Still), distilled in the year 1984 and bottled after 23 years of maturation in small handcrafted Bourbon Squat Hogsheads in December 2008 without the addition of colourants and chill filtration in an edition of 4866 individually numbered all gold bottles at cask strength 51.0% vol.
The great Bruichladdich Golder Still Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky shows fine aromas of vanilla, lemon, cream, hay and cinnamon on the nose, the taste is rich, round and great with vanilla beans, perfectly integrated spices combined with oak and fine sweetness. The finish is warm and medium long with oak, spices and lingering vanilla notes.
