Bruichladdich 1986 19 Years 1st Fill Sherry Butt Cask No. 2 50th Anniversary of La Maison Du Whisky Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 46.0% Vol. - rare bottling of a outstanding Islay Single Malt!
A rare vintage 1986 19 year old Bruichladdich Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled after 19 years maturation in a 1st fill sherry butt with cask no. 2 exclusively for the 50th Anniversary of La Maison Du Whisky in the year 2005 without added colouring or chill filtration at 46.0% vol. in a limited edition of 690 individually numbered bottles.
The combination of rich sherry and long maturation in Islay's Atlantic ocean climate has produced an almost decadent, rich single malt with wonderfully balanced and strong fruit and oak tones with a unique character and a beautiful dark amber colour. An absolutely first-class Bruichladdich Islay single malt and worthy memory of LMDW as well as Master Distiller Jim McEwan, who shows the barrel art and work of Jim McEwan in a particularly expressive way.
