An extremely rare vintage 1990 20 year old Bruichladdich Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled on 15th November 1990 and after over 20 years maturation in a selected Oloroso sherry cask with cask no. 234 at the Bruichladdich warehouse 2 bottled on 10th August 2011 in the Distillery Micro Provenance Single Cask Evolution Exploration Series without the addition of dyes and chill filtration at cask strength 53.8% vol. as a limited release exclusively for Taiwan P9 and the renowned wine house Channg Ruey Trading Co. in individually numbered bottles in a limited edition of 580 bottles.
The Bruichladdich Micro Provenance exclusive range comprises an exploratory series of single cask bottlings, hand selected by Jim McEwan and Adam Hannett to showcase the complexity and pedigree of the individual casks at Bruichladdich. The whisky matured on Loch Indaal in over two hundred different casks, from the renowned Spanish bodegas in Jerez to the great châteaux of Burgundy and the vineyards of Sauternes - casks that held organic and biodynamic wines now hold whisky distilled from farms on Islay, Orkney and the Scottish mainland.
