A very rare vintage 2007 6 years-old Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Super Heavily Peated Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky and 3rd release from the limited Renegade series, selected by the former co-owner and director Mark Reynier. The Port Charlotte Palaemon Renegade MBRPT4 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in 2007 and after 6 years of maturation in a French Oak Cask from one of the world famous vineyards from the appellation Pessac-Leognan in Bordeaux with cask no. 014 bottled without added colouring and chill filtration in the years 2014 in an edition of only 293 individually hand numbered bottles at cask strength 63.8% abv and 40 PPM.
The maturation in the selected Bordeaux French oak cask of Pessac-Léognan created an great Islay Single Malt with a beautiful amber colour and the classic and elegant Bruichladdich character with the power and presence of strong peat smoke.
The Port Charlotte whiskies from Mark Reynier s limited Renegade series are now in great demand among collectors and connoisseurs of outstanding Scotch whiskies!
