The result is a special vatting single malt at cask strength 47.7% vol. by Jim McEwan's personally selected Bruichladdich vintages and this combination has been skillfully assembled into a unique dram reflecting 50 years of love, sweat and tears. The Bruichladdich Five-O Limited Edition Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was only available at Fèis Ìle 2013 for local visitors to the distillery in an edition of only 700 bottles, sold out within a very short time and not officially available on the market.
The Bruichladdich Five-O is a perfect homage to a master whisky maker and fascinates with its diverse aromas and flavours that unfold slowly.
Today, this great Bruichladdich Islay single malt is one of the most sought-after bottlings, now only rarely available and one of the few bottles signed personally by Jim McEwan on 26th May 2013.
