Bruichladdich Legacy Four 32 Years Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Cask Strength 47.5% Vol. - one of the legendary masterpieces by Bruichladdich and Jim McEwan!
The fourth edition from the legendary Bruichladich Legacy range - a series of occasional outstanding vintages, selected by Jim McEwan, Master Distiller, from casks which they had inherited with the distillery and with 32 years one of the oldest single malts from Bruichladdich. The Bruichladdich Legacy series is a series of 6 bottles which have been bottled annually in limited editions from 2002 to 2007. All whiskies contain whisky from incredibly old casks or consist of the marriage of several casks from different vintages.
The exquisite Bruichladdich Islay single malt scotch whisky was bottled on 25th August 2005 without the addition of colouring or chill filtration in an edition of 820 individually numbered bottles at cask strength 47.5% vol. and features on the tin and bottle-label a picture of Lossit Bay on the island of Islay painted by the artist Frances Macdonald. This release contains whisky from handselected bourbon casks dating back to 1973, selected by whisky legend Jim McEwan and married into a great cuvee.
This Bruichladdich Legacy IV Islay single malt scotch whisky is one of the most sought-after Bruichladdich bottlings from the limited Legacy range produced from 2002 to 2007 and is now only rarely available.
An absolutely stunning Bruichladdich Islay single malt scotch whisky and whisky icon, which shows the legendary cask art of Master Distiller Jim McEwan in a particularly expressive way and a special masterpiece for connoisseurs and whisky-collectors of exclusive and old Scotch whiskies.
