The very rare and stunning second edition from the legendary Bruichladich Legacy series - a limited series of outstanding vintages and a special selection of the rarest and oldest casks from the old Bruichladdich cask cellar and, at 37 years old, one of Bruichladdich s oldest single malts. The Bruichladdich Legacy range is a series of 6 bottles which have been bottled annually in limited editions from 2002 to 2007. All whiskies contain whisky from incredibly old casks or consist of the marriage of several casks from different vintages.
The exquisite 37 year Bruichladdich Legacy series 2 Islay single malt Scotch whisky was bottled in the year 2003 in an edition of 1,500 individually numbered bottles without added colouring or chill filtration at cask strength 41.8% abv. The tin and bottle label of the Bruichladdich Legacy II feature a painting of Loch Indaal as seen from Port Charlotte by artist Frances Macdonald. This release contains whisky from handselected bourbon hogshead casks dating back to the 1960s, selected by whisky legend Jim McEwan and married into a great cuvee.
