A very rare vintage 1966 36 years-old Bunnahabhain Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the famous Cask Strength Rare Auld Limited Single Cask Edition by Duncan Taylor, which was distilled in June 1966 and after over 36 years of maturation in a white port cask with cask no. 4874 bottled in January 2003 without the addition of dyes and chill filtration in a batch of only 222 individually hand-numbered bottles at cask strength 40.7% vol. This special vintage 1966 36 years-old Bunnahabhain Islay Single Cask Scotch Whisky from the year 2003 has a beautiful amber colour and is a delight due to its maturity and complexity.
The whiskies offered between 2002 and 2011 by Duncan Taylor in the Cask Strength Rare Auld Single Cask Edition acquired by Abe Rosenberg since the early 1960s come from the more than 4000 casks of selected premium distilleries, such as Aberlour, Ben Riach, Bowmore, Brora, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabhain, Caperdonich, Clynelish, Dallas Dhu, Dalmore, Glen Grant, Glen Moray, Glenburgie, Glenesk, Glenlivet, Glenlossie, Glenrothes, Highland Park, Inchgower, Knockando, Linlithgow, Laphroaig, Longmorn, Macallan, Macduff, Miltonduff, Old Pulteney, Springbank, Strathisla, Strathmill, Tamdhu and Tomatin and are all bottled as single cask whiskies in limited editions.
