A rare vintage 2001 19 year old Bunnahabhain Islay single malt Scotch whisky from the northernmost distillery on Islay without added colourants and chill filtration at cask strength 54.2% vol. as a limited Feis Ile bottling, which was only available on site at the distillery for the Feis Ile 2021 Festival in an edition of 1333 individually hand-numbered bottles.
This exceptional Bunnahabhain Islay single malt Scotch whisky was distilled on 8th October 2001, matured for many years in selected bourbon casks in the old Bunnahabhain warehouse and then finished in exquisite Italian Marsala wine casks until it was bottled on 19th January 2021.
This exclusive vintage 2001 19 years Bunnahabhain Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky shows sweet wine notes, summer fruits and juicy cherries, fine vanilla, milk chocolate, leather and dusty oak on the nose, the flavour is rich, full-bodied and creamy with rich, sweet wine notes, red berries, dried fruits, caramel chocolate and nuts, the finish is medium long, dry, nutty and fruity with peanuts, white pepper and a hint of herbs - an exquisite and exceptional Bunnahabhain Islay Single Malt!
