A rare vintage 2005 12 year old Caol Ila double matured in Amoroso sherry cask Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky at cask strength 55.8% vol. bottled in limited edition for Festival Fèis Ìle 2017 and one of the few original sherry cask bottlings from Caol Ila. This Caol Ila limited special bottling was selected by Distillery Manger Eddie Thom from a double matured Amoroso sherry cask wood malt, which we re previously used to create Caol Ila Distillers Edition whisky. This fine Islay single malt was only available at the distillery in an limited edition of 1.500 individually numbered bottles and sold out within a short time.
With one of the outstanding Feis Ile bottlings from Caol Ila as well as an absolutely grandiose Islay single malt and a rarity for connoisseurs, collectors and lovers of exclusive scotch whiskies!
