A rare vintage 1974 23 years old Clynelish Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky at natural cask strength 59.1% ABV from the famous Diageo Rare Malts Selection, which was bottled in May 1998 in a limited edition. Among the connoisseurs, this Clynelish is now regarded as bottling from the Brora distilleries (at this time Clynelish-A and Clynelish-B), which was still in operation at the time, but there were no Brora original bottlings from the year 1973 and 1974. This exceptional and old bottling from the 70s of a rare highland single malt whisky from the distillery Clynelish impresses with its extraordinary quality and beautiful golden colour.
The Diageo Rare Malts Selection, which has now been discontinued, has been awarded with very special single malts from selected distilleries such as Auchroisk, Bannf, Blair Athol, Brora, Convalmore, Glen Mhor, Glendullan, Linkwood, Millburn, Port Ellen, Royal Lochnagar, Rosebank, St. Magdalene and Inchgower presented in a limited edition at Cask Strength and nowadays they are regarded almost as a cult among connoisseurs.
