A rare vintage 1988 26 year old Clynelish Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Duncan Taylor single cask collection which was distilled in October 1988 and bottled after 26 years of maturation in a sherry oak cask with the cask no. 908098 in November 2014 without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at cask strength 48.3% vol. in an edition of only 81 individually hand-numbered bottles. This exquisite 26-year-old Clynellish Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the late 1980s has a beautiful amber colour, impresses with its maturity and complexity and is presented in an exclusive and stylish heavy wooden box with leather casing and and a special bottle design.
The single malt Scotch whiskies offered by Duncan Taylor only briefly from 2013 to 2015 in this special Single Cask Collection were distilled in the late 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s and all come from world-famous distilleries such as Ardbeg, Blair Athol, Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila, Caperdonich, Cameronbridge, Clynelish, Cragganmore, Glen Grant, Glen Moray, Imperial, Miltonduff, Laphroaig, Littlemill and Springbank. All whiskies were only bottled in very small 2-digit quantities at natural cask strength, for the Asian market there were some very rare bottlings with special and decorative bottle labels in co-operation with William and Co. Spirits Limited.
The special whiskies from the Duncan Taylor Single Cask Collection impress with their exceptionally high quality and are rarely found today. Detailed information such as the distillation and bottling date, the cask type, the cask number and the individual bottle number can be found on all bottles of this unique limited edition.
