This vintage 1996 18 year old Clynelish Highland Single Malt Whisky comes from a from a refill sherry butt with the cask no. 6511 selected personally by Kirsch Whisky at Signatory Vintage and was bottled exclusively with no added colourings and without chill filtration in an edition of 676 bottles for the spring of 2015 release as part of the Single Cask Seasons Limited Edition, which is now well-known among connoisseurs and collectors.
After distillation, the fine whisky spent over 18 years slowly maturing in a refill sherry butt before it was finally bottled. A very successful Highland Single Cask Scotch whisky with well-integrated fruity aromas, the typical distillery character and a deep copper colour - a remarkable Clynelish Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky for connoisseurs, the discerning whisky collector and lovers of fine old Scotch whiskies.
