After the legendary The Merry Go-Round and the Crois Chill Daltain I the Regensburger Whiskyclub and Pit Krause with the Crois Chill Daltain II have once again succeeded in producing an absolutely outstanding and uncompromising Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky with special Ardbeg-gene as part of the 11th Private Club release in limited edition with 50.8% vol.
The stunning C.V. bottling consists of various vintages dating back to the 1970s and, like its predecessors, about half of it was allowed to mature again in selected and first-class sherry casks. The result is an excellent and dark chestnut-coloured Islay single malt in the old style with an exceptionally mature complexity, full fat sherry, maritime salty with iodine, charcoal, peat, chilli with black pepper and a characteristic that can only be found in a few and almost priceless old-style whiskies today.
A special highlight for connoisseurs and collectors and a great Islay single malt whisky that was not officially available in the market - today already almost iconic, without a doubt an exceptional whisky and in the near future for sure already an exceptional rarity!
