This very special 25 years old Dalmore Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky consists of an exceptional combination of whiskies and continues the company's tradition of using special cask types for maturation and refinement. The whisky spent its 25 years of maturation initially in American white oak casks, then distributed by hand to 25-year-old Palomino Fino sherry casks from Spain and selected American first-fill Bourbon casks from the 1980s. Afterwards the exquisite Dalmore Highland Single Malt maturered in Tawny Port Pipes. The finish in the port wine pipes influenced the enjoyment just as much as the sophisticated maturation. The triple finish with the demanding and unusual maturation has given the 25-year-old Dalmore a harmonious character with a lot of substance and an almost unbelievable richness of nuances.
