Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 71.5% Vol. is the 11th release and one of only 19589 bottles from 142 hand selected barrels from the limited Buffalo Trace Antique Collection 2010 of the renowned Buffalo Trace distillery, which produces world-famous whiskey brands such as Pappy Van Winkle, George T. Stagg, William Larue Weller, Eagle Rare, Colonel E.H. Taylor, Sazerac, Stagg Jr and Thomas H. Handy Sazerac. With the vintage 1993 17 years George T. Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Fall of 2010, Buffalo Trace has created a very intense and complex dark amber-coloured Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and demonstrates the special quality of the American whiskey craftsmanship.
George T. Stagg was born in 1835 and founded the distillery now known as Buffalo Trace near the Kentucky river in the 19th century, the golden age of bourbon. George T. Stagg Bourbon Whiskey is one of the best-known American bourbon whiskeys and today, like Buffalo Trace, belongs to the Sazerac Company and is also produced at the Buffalo Trace distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. The famous George T. Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is matured in selected new white American oak barrels, is unblended and unfiltered and is only delivered to a few selected retailers worldwide in small quantities each year.
Buffalo Trace has been releasing five highly sought-after bourbon and rye whiskeys in the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection every year since 2000. They are so rare that they are difficult to find even in the USA, the coveted limited edition bottlings sell out within a short time and are only available via a lottery at many retailers who receive a few bottles for sale. This applies in particular to the flagships from Pappy Van Winkle, Old Rip Van Winkle, George T. Stagg, Eagle Rare, Sazerac and William Larue Weller. The glass bottle for the George T. Stagg Straight Bourbon Whiskey was designed and selected to showcase the dark and rich colour of this exclusive bourbon whiskey. The back label provides a full product history and description. Each bottle has been bottled and labelled by hand to ensure the highest quality of workmanship and uniqueness.
The magnificent George T. Stagg Bourbon Whiskey changes a little from batch to batch, but is always breathtaking and has received numerous awards for this, the George T. Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (Fall 2004) was awarded Whiskey of the Year and Bourbon of the Year by Jim Murray in 2004 and, like the rare bottlings of Old Rip Van Winkle, William Larue Weller, Eagle Rare and Sazerac, is one of the best American whiskeys in the world.
An exquisite and rare vintage 1993 17 years George T. Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey with a fabulous 71.5% vol. / 143.0 proof from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection 2010, one of the highest rated straight bourbon whiskeys with cult status and the highest award level for a bourbon whiskey, almost ingenious and an extraordinary extremely rare hand-made bourbon whiskey for connoisseurs, the discerning whiskey collector and lovers of exclusive bourbon whiskeys!
