This rare and magnificent vintage 1990 22 year old Glendronach Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was distilled on 30th May 1990, matured for 22 years in a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon with the cask no. 2966 and was bottled on 6th June 2012 in the single cask limited release batch 6 series in an edition of only 539 individually hand-numbered bottles without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at cask strength 55.1% vol.
Each year, Master Distiller Billy Walker selects a handful of individual casks from Glendronach s warehouses and bottles them for special retailers and renowned whisky merchants in the Glendronach limited release single cask bottling series. With exclusive Glendronach whiskies dating back to 1968, there is a wide range of barrels, hogsheads, puncheons and butts. Each of these exquisite casks has truly remarkable characteristics and the malt whisky they contain has developed exceptionally well during the long maturation process.
This fine 22 years Glendronach Highland single malt scotch whisky is full-bodied and dry, it shines with fine sherry with the aroma of grapes, figs, honey and sweet oak.
