This rare and stunning vintage 1990 28 year old Glendronach Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled on 25th April 1990, matured for over 28 years in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon with cask no. 7905 and was bottled in February 2019 in the single cask limited release batch 17 - series with no added colouring or chill-fitration at cask strength 51.7% abv in an edition of only 660 individually hand-numbered bottles.
Each year, Master Distiller Billy Walker selects a handful of individual casks from Glendronach s warehouses and bottles them for special retailers and renowned whisky merchants in the Glendronach limited release single cask bottling series. With exclusive Glendronach whiskies dating back to 1968, there is a wide range of barrels, hogsheads, puncheons and butts. Each of these exquisite casks has truly remarkable characteristics and the malt whisky they contain has developed exceptionally well during the long maturation process.
