This rare and exquisite vintage 1992 27 year old Glendronach Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was distilled on 27th November 1992, matured for over 27 years in a fine Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon with cask no. 6049 and bottled on 28th July 2020 in the Glendronach single cask limited release batch no. 18 series for the Asian market in an edition of only 694 individually hand-numbered bottles without the addition of colouring and chill filtration at cask strength 49.2% vol.
Each year, Master Distiller Billy Walker selects a handful of individual casks from Glendronach s warehouses and bottles them for special retailers and renowned whisky merchants in the Glendronach limited release single cask bottling series. With exclusive Glendronach whiskies dating back to 1968, there is a wide range of barrels, hogsheads, puncheons and butts. Each of these exquisite casks has truly remarkable characteristics and the malt whisky they contain has developed exceptionally well during the long maturation process.
