This rare 21 year old Glendronach Parliament Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky was matured for at least 21 years in a mix of the finest Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks and was bottled in the years 2015 without added colouring or chill filtration in a limited edition at 48.0% vol.
This great Glendronach Highland Single Malt has been bottled since 2011 and is considered an insider tip among connoisseurs and lovers of sherry cask-matured Scotch whiskies. The full bodied Glendroach Highland single malt scotch whisky has an exceptionally deep amber colour and the result of maturation in selected Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks is a wonderfully fruity and round whisky with a combination of ripe fruit and sweet sherry. On the palate, it shows wonderfully the fine Oloroso sherry, followed by dark chocolate and plum jam, cinnamon and nuts. The finish is long with a spicy aftertaste.
The Glendronach Parliament Highland single malt scotch whisky gets its name from the collective name for a group of rooks, with a parliament of rooks living in the trees near the distillery.
