This rare and stunning 24-year-old Glendronach Grandeur Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was bottled in the year 2017 as batch number 009 in an edition of 1487 individually hand-numbered bottles without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at 48.7% vol. The Glendronach Grandeur Batch No. 009 Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was matured in selected and exquisite Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, the casks were personally selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker and the exclusive Glendronach Single Malt Scotch whisky is presented in a luxurious solid wooden box and tasting notes.
The Glendronach Grandeur Batch No. 009 Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky is wonderfully intense and concentrated, on the nose it shows preserved plums with cinnamon, orange peel, mulled wine spice, sandalwood, vanilla, gingerbread, old leather and oak, the taste is soft and smooth with luscious vanilla, plums, raspberries, dark chocolate, cherry liqueur, marzipan, espresso, caramel, leather, tobacco, dates and an elegant oak spice with a long and wonderful finish.
