A rare and stunning 22 year old Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled in the year 2018 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength bottling series in a limited special edition of 3,600 bottles. This special Highland single malt was matured for 22 years in the finest sherry casks and was bottled without the addition of colouring or chill filtration at cask strength 60.0% vol.
The Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength Highland single malt scotch whisky was originally created in 1968 as a Christmas gift for friends and staff of the distillery and was revolutionary at the time with straight from the cask 60.0% vol. and was in stark contrast to the usual standard 40.0% vol. of blended whiskies predominantly bottled in the 1960s. The exceptional whisky won many enthusiastic fans within a short time and the cask strength whisky was born. The designation 105 comes from the outdated British proof system and is the conversion of 60.0% ABV.
