A very rare and stunning vintage 1961 45 year old Glenfarclas Highland single malt scotch whisky from the premium casks limited edition botttling series, bottled on 13th November 2006 in a limited edition of only 199 individually numbered bottles without added dyes and chill filtration at 46.0% vol. exclusively for Germany and the Hanseatische Weinhandelsgesellschaft in Bremen.
For this purpose, a selected 1st fill Oloroso sherry cask with the cask no. 1318 was filled at Glenfarclas on 14th March 1961, this was allowed to mature for over 45 years in the old cask cellar of Glenfarclas and the result is a particularly dark mahogany-coloured Glenfarclas Single Malt Scotch Whisky and one of the last bottlings from the early 1960s.
The magnificent old style, big, bold and sherried Glenfarclas Highland single malt scotch whisky from the early 1960s shows an extraordinary quality, is complex, absolutely outstanding and a really rare rarity from the old Glenfarclas warehouse - almost impossible to find today and a special recommendation for connoisseurs, the discerning whisky collector and lovers of exclusive and old Scotch whiskies!
