A rare and exquisite vintage 1961 53 year old Glenfarclas single malt Scotch whisky from the Family Casks series Summer 2014 and special bottling from a selected 1st fill sherry cask. For this, Glenfarclas filled a selected sherry hogshead with the cask no. 3054 in 1961, the distillate was then matured in the cask for 53 years and the particularly old whisky was bottled on 25th March 2014 in an edition of only 144 bottles without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at cask strength 44.2% vol. as limited summer release S14.
