A very rare vintage 1970 30 year old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky from The Distillery of Independence Single Sherry Cask Selection bottling series, which was distilled on 18th March 1970 and bottled after more than 30 years of maturation in a selected sherry cask with the cask no. 2016 on 7th June 2000 in a limited edition of 261 individually numbered bottles without the addition of colourants and chill filtration with the rare eagle label indicating the cask number at cask strength 49.3% vol.
This exquisite old style Glenfarclas Highland single malt scotch whisky has a beautiful mahogany colour, is of exceptional quality, complex, absolutely excellent and today a rare rarity for connoisseurs, the discerning whisky collector and lovers of fine old Scotch whiskies.
